Huge congratulations to Monika and Haylee who have qualified for Southern Metro Cross Country.
Everyone at CCPS wishes you good luck in your next race!
Last term the Athletics team all showed great team work and determination to win the Athletics Carnival against other schools in our District. It was a really exciting day as we were in 2nd place behind Casey Grammar all day until it came to Relays and we overtook them to finish 1st overall.
Great achievement for everyone who participated.
For all those who qualified for Divisional Athletics that will take place on Wednesday 19th of September.
District Athletics takes place tomorrow at Casey Fields. We would like to see as many parents as there as possible to cheer on our Athletes.

It has been another busy and successful week for the CCPS sports teams. On Monday we had a 2 teams at Regional Volleyball and 4 teams at District Cricket.
The girls Volleyball team narrowly missed out on the State Finals finishing as runners up in the Regional comp losing 15-12, 15-12 in the final. The boys played extremely well at times but lost in the semi finals to a determined opposition 14-12 in a deciding set. The boys were complimented on their skill level and the manner in which they played the game by a number of PE staff and Volleyball coaches from other schools.
In Cricket the boys team won the District competition and the girls finished 2nd. One of the other boys teams also went unbeaten all day. The boys team will progress to the Regional Cricket comp on the 21st of November at Max Pawsey Reserve.

These champions took out the Casey South Divisional 12/13 Girls 4 x 100m relay.
Last week they represented Casey South in the Southern Metro Regional Carnival. The girls put in a great amount of effort and narrowly missed out on a spot in the state finals.
Well Done girls, everyone at CCPS is very proud of you and all the other children who represented our school in Athletics this year.
Last week the Netball and Soccer teams participated in the Casey South Divisional rounds of the School Sport Victoria state championships. The Netball team won their first 2 games against Narre Warren P-12 and Strathaird but lost out in the final to Narre Warren P-12. The Soccer teams managed to go unbeaten all day and won their final game 4-0 against Hillsmeade Primary. This sees the Soccer team qualify for the South Metropolitan Regional round to be played at Casey Comets on the 15th of August.
Well done to both teams.
